Add a short-term rental
What is this?
List equipment, venues or stays with a rate, rental length, deposit and blocked dates.
Step-by-step
Add a rental
Tap Listings → Add rental. Some shops see their own wording, for example Add space for a venue.
Fill in Details
In Details, enter Rental name, Description, Category and Subcategory (equipment, venue, staycation and so on). Stays also get a Stay details section.
Set the rate
In Price, enter the Base price (Price per night for stays) in your store currency, and choose how it is Charged, for example per day or per hour.
Set length and deposit
Set the minimum and maximum length (for example Min days and Max days) and an optional Deposit %.
Limit units (items)
If you have a set number of items, open Stock, turn on Track stock and enter Units available. Stock shows for item rentals such as equipment, and Track stock needs the Starter, Basic or Pro plan.
Activate and save
In the save bar, set Status to Active, then tap Save rental.
Block dates (optional)
After the first save, open Blocked dates to block days already booked elsewhere, such as on Airbnb. It shows for room rentals, staycations, function rooms and venues.
